
Meet The Team

David Wood (Chairman)
David has lived in Wing for 40 years. He had a long career in retail and retail banking with Lloyds Banking Group - latterly as Chairman of Melton Mowbray Building Society - and has significant experience of working with charities. David is currently Chairman of Rutland Agricultural Society and trustee/chairman of several other charities. He is also the churchwarden for Wing Church and was High Sheriff of Rutland in 2021.

Susannah Fish (Secretary)
Susannah Fish OBE QPM has lived in Wing since 2009 and is Vice Chair of the Parish Council . She had a career in policing, retiring as Chief Constable of Nottinghamshire Police in 2017. She has expertise in safeguarding, risk management, strategy development, crisis management, equality, diversity and inclusion, change management, and partnership working.

Paul Kitson (Treasurer)
Paul has lived in Wing with his wife Lynne since 2016. By profession, Paul is an Accountant and Corporate Treasurer. Paul also has extensive experience in accounting, corporate finance, financial risk management, corporate governance, compliance and anti-corruption. Since retiring, Paul has been an advisor at Citizens’ Advice, is secretary of the Rutland Agricultural society and a director of Rutland First CIC.

James Fish
James has lived in Wing for the past sixteen years with his wife, Susannah. James is a member of the management committee of the Wing Village Hall and is responsible for hall bookings. He is a retired chartered quantity surveyor specialising in the retail sector and warehouse distribution centres, and has extensive project management, contract administration and space planning expertise. His interests are fly fishing, learning to draw, skiing and enjoying wine and beer.

Clive Loader
Air Chief Marshal Sir Clive Loader KCB OBE RAF (Retired). Harrier pilot by deep background, finishing his career running front-line RAF and retiring in 2009. Clive served as Police & Crime Commissioner for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (2012-16) and Governor of Bedford School 2005-2023 (Chair from 2018-2023). He has lived in Wing since 2009 and is deeply committed to keeping the much-loved local pub alive.

Tracy Moores
Tracy has lived in Wing with husband Philip since 2020. She has worked in the beauty industry for 40 years and they co-founded their distribution company in 2010. CEO Tracy is involved in all areas of the business including brand and business development, commercial negotiation, PR, e-commerce and digital sales and marketing. Tracy is a trustee of Rutland Dying Matters and chair of The Snowdrop Awards.

Philip Moores
Philip has lived in Wing with wife Tracy since 2020. He had careers in music and advertising then co-founded a successful beauty distribution company with Tracy in 2010, for which he serves as Creative Director. Tracy and Philip also own and run a warehouse and logistics business in Essex. Philip is on the Wing PCC and the Wing Village Hall Committee.

Catherine Varley
Catherine began her career as a commercial litigation solicitor before moving into compliance and operations, working across a range of sectors including recruitment and real estate. After 20 years in London, she is a recent addition to the Wing community, but is no less committed to saving the beautiful local pub.
