We’re currently raising money for our Fighting Fund, which will help us explore every possible way to save The King’s Arms - whether that’s through a community purchase, attracting the right investor, or simply raising awareness of its potential. You don’t have to live in the village to support us - if you’ve ever visited and loved the pub, or if Rutland is a place close to your heart, you can help make a difference.

 

Every donation, big or small, will go towards vital costs such as legal advice, valuation fees, and expert consultations ensuring we have the best chance of securing the pub’s future. Please note that donating to the Fighting Fund is not the same as buying shares in the pub. The Fighting Fund is purely for covering the essential costs of setting up and exploring all possible ways to save The King’s Arms. ​A separate share offer may be launched in the future, but that is an entirely different process and any donation to the Fighting Fund does not buy shares or guarantee any future ownership stake.

(If we end up with more Fighting Fund money than we need, we will aim to return surplus funds on a pro rata basis where practical. At that point, donors can choose whether to put that money towards share purchase or simply have it refunded.)
